By 1900, many department stores across America featured a live Santa Claus during the holiday season. Children typically sat on his lap and whispered their Christmas wishes into his ear. I need a little Christmas. . .
The Osmond elementary students, as well as the junior and senior high students, held their annual Christmas concerts on Monday, Dec. 11. The fifth and sixth grade bands started off the evening with several numbers, followed by some songs by the kindergarten class. The firsth through sixth grade classes then gave their program, "I Need a Little Christmas Vacation." After a short break, the junior high and senior high choruses each sang a couple songs. This was followed by the junior high with two numbers and the senior high concer band with three. The evneing ended with the concert bands and mixed choruses playing and singing some holiday favorites, with the audience joining in. 12/20/2023 12:00 AM
