WAYNE – Wayne State College held a commencement ceremony for graduate and undergraduate students on Friday, Dec. 15, in Rice Auditorium. A total of 345 degrees were conferred.
Among the undergraduates was Kayla Wingert of Osmond, who graduated magna cum laude (Cumulative grade point average between 3.80 to 3.89 ). Kayla double-majored and graduated with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education and special education generalist K-6, with an endorsement in early childhood education PK-3.
Kayla is a 2019 Osmond High School graduate. Her parents are Tom and Lori Wingert and grandparents are Jerry and Marian Wingert.
