P.E.O local Chapter BE selected Erica Heiman as the recipient of the Chapter BE Marguerite Scholar and Citizen Award. Erica is the daughter of Don and Frances Heimann of Osmond and a 2024 Osmond High School graduate.

LINCOLN –- For the week ending May 19, 2024, there were 5.1 days suitable for fieldwork, according to the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service. Topsoil moisture supplies rated 3% very short, 15% short, 77% adequate, and 5% surplus. Subsoil moisture supplies rated 5% very short, 20% short, 71% adequate, and 4% surplus.

St. Mary’s students celebrate military
OSMOND – This year, St. Mary’s Catholic School instructor Sonja Kirchoff joined Amanda Koehler of the Osmond American Legion Auxiliary to speak with the students at St. Mary’s Catholic School. She collaborated with several teachers to promote several activities at the school.
