The Nebraska State Fair will pay tribute to America’s veterans during its annual Veterans Day celebration at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 2, in the Heartland Events Center.
With a theme of “All Roads Lead to a Welcome Home,” the event will feature keynote speaker Michael Ingram with the VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Healthcare System.
Also on the program are a short choral performance and music by the 15-member Heartland of America Band from Offutt Air Force Base. Honorary grand marshals will be the late Wilma Kellogg and her family.
The Nebraska State Fair will be Aug. 23 through Sept. 2 in Grand Island with the theme “All Roads Lead to Fun.” For more information, go to StateFair.org.
