Inurnment will be at the Randolph City Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service time on Friday at the Stonacek Funeral Chapel. Rick died on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at his farm in rural Randolph. Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Randolph is in charge of the arrangements. Rick was born March 26, 1952, in Wayne to Don E. and Doris Rose (Kruger) Eddie. He attended Randolph Public Schools and graduated from Randolph High School in 1970. Rick lived on a farm southwest of Belden until 1961. He then moved to his farm northwest of Randolph. Rick loved farming and enjoyed working the land. He is remembered for being independent, his good sense of humor, and his love for animals. He enjoyed catching up and spending time with family, testing his luck at the slot machines, and being outdoors. Rick was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Randolph.

Rick is survived by his daughter, Callie (Jared) Treat, and their two children Bailey and Riley of Kearney; siblings Larry (Theresa) Eddie of McLean, Gina Eddie of Papillion, Mike (Karen) Eddie of Stanton, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
