Secretary of State certifies Robert F. Kennedy Jr. petition
The Nebraska Secretary of State's office has certified for the general election ballot Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s nonpartisan presidential candidate petition. Kennedy’s campaign collected 4,442 valid signatures from registered Nebraska voters. The campaign needed to collect valid signatures from at least 2,500 registered Nebraska voters.

Northeast Power lineman wins rodeo event
Northeast Power competed in the Nebraska Lineworkers Rodeo July 18-19 at the Custer County Fairgrounds in Broken Bow. One of its employees, Nate Pospisil of Wayne, competed in a mutual aid contest with NPPD lineman Chad Sedlacek, and the two won the contest.
