March was a month filled with music magic for the Osmond Music Program.
From dress-up days to engaging music trivia, the music students celebrated the rhythm of life in style!
Students delved into the history of music at Osmond Community Schools and showcased their talents in the annual musical project. The crescendo? A stunning concert by the 7-12 band and choir on March 18, followed by an unforgettable performance by seven of the high school band students at the Class D All-State Honor Band in Kearney on March 23!
Those attending All-state Band, their instrument, and band section were Erin Wagner, flute, wind ensemble; Erica Heiman, flute, wind ensemble; Keely Gubbels, alto sax, wind ensemble; Caleb Miller, bari sax, wind ensemble; Matthew Alderson, tenor sax, jazz band; Jack Berg, trombone, symphonic band; Donovan Heiman, trumpet, symphonic band.
Three OHS students medaled: Keely Gubbels, second chair alto saxophone; Caleb Miller, first chair bari sax, and Matthew Alderson, second chair tenor sax.
