Early voter ballot applications available

PIERCE - With the 2024 primary election coming up soon, Pierce County voters have the option to request early voter's ballots if they will not be able to vote in person on the date of the primary. The county office has application forms available to have early ballots mailed out.

PIERCE - With the 2024 primary election coming up soon, Pierce County voters have the option to request early voter's ballots if they will not be able to vote in person on the date of the primary. The county office has application forms available to have early ballots mailed out.

The application is for ballots for the 2024 primary election, which will be held on Tuesday, May 14. The ballots can be mailed to recipients beginning April 8, 2024.

Applicants must provide their name, date of birth and a driver's license or state ID number. Those who do not have a driver's license or state-issued identification number must send a copy of a valid photo ID or complete the impediment certification form which is available at the county clerk's office.

Early voter deadline for the primary election is: request by mail, 4:30 p.m. May 3; request in person, 4:30 p.m. May 13; request by agent, 7 p.m., May 14. Ballots returned by agent must be returned by 8 p.m. on election day. Ballots returned by mail must be in the posses- sion of the election office by 8 p.m. on election day.

Pierce County Clerk Shannon Wragge has applications for early voters ballots avail- able at the county clerk's of - fice in Pierce. An application form is also printed in this week's issue of the Osmond Republican.
