LINCOLN - For the week ending March 24, 2024, topsoil moisture supplies rated 13% very short, 34% short, 52% adequate, and 1% surplus, according to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service. Subsoil moisture supplies rated 14% very short, 45% short, 39% adequate, and 2% surplus.
Field Crops Report: Winter wheat condition rated 2% very poor, 4% poor, 28% fair, 54% good, and 12% excellent.
Weekly reports will begin April 1st for the 2024 season.
