WAUSA – The Nebraska School Activities Association recently announced the student recipients of the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association Academic All-State Awards for the winter of 2023-24.
For Wausa High School, seniors Matthew Rumsey and Cade Wakeley were recognized in boys basketball; seniors Hadley Vanness and Sienna West were honored in girls basketball; and senior Holly Johnson and Wakeley were recognized in speech.
Since 2006, this NSAA Awards Program has recognized students who meet the criteria for nomination by their school in the season of their activity.
Each year, the NSAA and the NCPA recognize students during the fall, winter and spring seasons who are nominated by their schools for their individual academic excellence, leadership and significant contributions in their particular NSAA activity.
