OSMOND — Five Osmond High School athletes have received Lewis and Clark Conference basketball honors for the Osmond-Randolph Hawks season.
Xander Brown was named to the Clark Division All-conference boys’ basketball team.
For the girls, Keli Aschoff and Sophie Gansebom were both named to the Clark Division All-conference girls’ basketball team. Caydence Krienert received honorable mention, as did fellow Lady Hawks teammate Ella Scott of Randolph.
Xander, a 6-ft., 1-inch senior, played 25 minutes per game, scored 8.6 points/game; 6.0 rebounds/game; 28% 2-pt FG; 29% 3-pt FG; 75% FT; 1.3 steals/game.
“Xander was a very important part of our team this year on both ends of the floor," said Coach Bronson Pahl.
“He was a leader every day in practice, and his hard work and dedication to the team will be missed." Keli, a 5-ft., 5-inch junior, led the Hawks this season in scoring with 163 points (7.1 ppg), assists with 59 (2.6 apg), steals with 90 (4 spg), and she was second on the team in rebounds with 95 (4.1 rpg).
Sophie, a 5-ft., 8-inch junior, was second on the team in scoring with 149 (6.5 ppg), second in assists with 34 (1.5 APG); third on the team in rebounds with 92 (4 rpg), and third on the team in steals with 36 (1.6 spg). Last season Sophie was named honorable mention All-Conference, this year she made the jump to first team.
Ella, a 5 ft., 6 in. senior, dropped 125 points on the season (5.4 ppg), grabbed 80 rebounds (3.5 rpg), and was second on the team in steals with 40 (1.7 spg).
Caydence, a 5 ft., 8 in. senior, on the season scored 42 points (1.8 ppg), grabbed 75 rebounds (3.3 rpg), had 15 assists (0.7 apg), and stole the ball 13 times ( 0.6spg).
