WAUSA – New security cameras have been installed at the Wausa Auditorium.
Wausa Village Clerk Karen Kleinschmit said Hartelco outside plant technician Dirk Dailey started putting in the cameras and wiring on Dec. 19 and finished up all of the work on Dec. 20.
The cost of the installation project has been estimated at about $2,000, but Kleinschmit was not sure what the final total would be for the work at the 80-year-old building.
“This is a complicated building to wire, in the aspect of security and minimal impact of wiring and holes,” she said. “He had to do a lot to get that wiring through.”
The village board of trustees approved the purchase and installation of the cameras in November.
