OSMOND — The Osmond Sons of the American Legion Squad 326 once again hosted some residents of the Norfolk Veterans Home on Wednesday, March 20, for a meal at 3rd Street Bar & Grill. Also invited were American Legion Unit 326 and Auxiliary members.
About 15 members from the veterans home traveled to Osmond for the noon buffet meal of chicken, roast beef and shrimp. Pastor Scott Kirchoff led the prayer before the meal and Jim Schmit welcomed everyone there.
According to Schmit, Todd Stonacek and Jay Reikofski of the Sons of the American Legion were largely responsible for getting the folks up here again from the Norfolk Veterans Home.
