WAUSA – Due to the need for a teacher in-service day, Wausa Public Schools has extended its Christmas break for students by one day.
There will be a teacher in-service day on Jan. 3, and classes will resume for PK-12 students on Jan. 4. In addition, the school office will be closed through Jan. 1 and will formally reopen on Jan. 2.
The moratorium on competitions and practices mandated by the Nebraska School Activities Association runs through Dec. 27.
