HARTINGTON – A Bloomfield woman is serving 30 days in jail related to a gun theft from a Magnet residence.
A felony burglary charge recently was dismissed against Taylor Janis, 31, in Cedar County Court and she was sentenced to jail on misdemeanor theft.
According to court documents, the theft occurred in September from the Magnet residence. A day after the gun was stolen, it was returned back to the residence and the owner reportedly found it laying on the porch.
