WAUSA – The Nebraska School Activities Association recently released the 2024 and 2025 high school football schedules for teams across the state, including the Wausa-Osmond Vikings.
Wausa-Osmond, which is set to play three home games in Wausa and one in Osmond, will host Wakefield to kick off the 2024 season on Aug. 30 in Wausa, followed by road games at Stanton, Sept. 6, and at Homer, Sept. 13.
The next week will see Wausa-Osmond host Boyd County on Sept. 20 in Wausa for that community’s Homecoming celebration. A road game at rival Bloomfield awaits on Sept. 27.
Wausa-Osmond will host Hartington-Newcastle on Oct. 4 in Osmond for that community’s Homecoming celebration.
The last road game of the regular season for Wausa-Osmond will take place on Oct. 11 at Crofton, followed by a home game on Oct. 18 in Wausa against Niobrara/Verdigre.
Wausa-Osmond’s 2025 schedule will keep the same teams, but the locations will switch around, though the Homecoming games for Wausa and Osmond have not yet been determined for that season: - Week One: At Wakefield, Aug. 29. - Week Two: Vs. Stanton, Sept. 5. - Week Three: Vs. Homer, Sept. 12. - Week Four: At Boyd County, Sept. 19. - Week Five: Vs. Bloomfield, Sept. 26. - Week Six: At Hartington-Newcastle, Oct. 3. - Week Seven: Vs. Crofton, Oct. 10. - Week Eight: At Niobrara/Verdigre, Oct. 17.
