CENTER – Two Knox County boards are scheduled to hold regular meetings on March 20 in Center.
The county board of supervisors will meet at 9:30 a.m., while the county board of equalization will meet at 10 a.m.
Both boards will gather at the county courthouse. The meetings will be open to the public.
An agenda for each meeting is kept continuously current and is available for public inspection at the county clerk’s office.
However, each board upon convening has the right to modify its meeting agenda.
Each agenda is also available for viewing on the county website at www.co.knox. ne.us.
One topic that likely will be on the supervisors’ agenda is whatever the Knox County Planning Commission recommends for amendments proposed by National Grid Renewables to the zoning regulations regarding wind energy conservation system setbacks, including for wetlands, and commercial solar conversion systems.
The planning commission held a public hearing and welcomed public comments on the topic on March 12.
