Was the groundhog correct? Are we going to have an early spring?
One might think so, with the number of flowers that have already emerged and some of the warm days the area has had. But there have also been pretty chilly days, and even the geese have been confused — they were seen flying north a couple weeks ago already, but were seen heading back south days later, then north, and then south once again. The weather man also seems to be confused, as the forecast seems to change daily. As of Tuesday morning, the forecast for Wednesday calls for a high of 60° and breezy, followed by several days in the 40s before climbing up to 70° next week. Unfortunately, the extended forecast sees the temperatures dropping once again into the 50s. But since it’s Nebraska, that could still change. . .
