OHS speech team places fourth at conference tournament

OSMOND — Osmond High School hosted the Lewis and Clark Conference speech meet on Monday, March 4, with the local team placing fourth in the competition.

In varsity competition, Matthew Alderson was first in extemporaneous, and Erica Heiman and Erin Wagner were second in duet acting.

Placing third were Ava Reikofski in extemporaneous, Erin Wagner in informative, Jack Berg in humorous and Erica Heiman in POI.

Erin Aschoff was sixth in serious prose, and Jade Halsey was seventh in informative.

Honors Finals:

Placing first were Matthew Al derson in poetry, Ava Reikofki in persuasive and Julie Kumm in POI.

Coming in second was the OID team of Jade Halsey, Piper Hoffman, Kaleigh Miller, Donovan Heiman and Meagan Wagner.

Taking third place were Brianna Kumm in humorous and Meagan Wagner in serious prose.

Those placing fourth were Donovan Heiman in entertainment and Justin Rohloff in poetry.

Caleb Miller placed sixth in enter tainment.
