NORFOLK – A Military Service Academy Day event has been scheduled for March 7 in Norfolk.
The event is set for 6-7:30 p.m. at the Norfolk Chamber of Commerce, 609 W. Norfolk Ave., and is designed to inform high school students about the process to apply for a congressional nomination to one of the nation’s military service academies.
Service academy representatives will be on hand to answer questions. The event includes representatives from the Nebraska chapters of the service academy alumni associations and Nebraska service academy parent clubs.
All high school students, parents and guidance counselors who have an interest in the nation’s service academies are welcome. The targeted audience is freshmen through juniors.
