OSMOND — Community HOME Team members met Tuesday, Feb. 20, to discuss upcoming events, including the annual pancake day in March, the Easter egg hunt, and Summerfest.
The pancake day will be held on Sunday, March 17 and the annual Easter egg hunt will be held on Sat- urday, March 23, at Poolside Park.
More information on those events will be printed later.
The main topic for discussion was Summerfest and whether it should be held. Kris Schramm spoke up and volunteered to head the event. Most of the rest of the meeting was spent discussing Summerfest activities. As of right now, there will not be a parade, however, many of the other activities will be held, as well as a few new ones, if the specifics can be confirmed.
More information on Summerfest will be shared as it gets closer to the date. Summerfest this year will be held on Sunday, June 23, the day after the biennial alumni reunion.
