WAYNE – A Wausa High School vocal student joined more than 250 other vocal students representing 50 high schools from Nebraska, Iowa and Minnesota in showcasing their musical talent during Wayne State College’s Honor Choir concert on Feb. 2.
The honor concert featured a treble choir and mixed choir, the latter of which included Wausa senior Sophia Wilken as a Soprano II. Participants were selected based on auditions from more than 50 schools.
Throughout the day, students studied technique and practiced repertoire for the concert.
