(By Coach Brian Guenther) On Monday, Jan. 29, the young Hawks traveled to Elgin to take on the Eagles. The Eagles came out on top with a score of 36-19. Scoring for Osmond-Randolph included Jaylen Junck 5, Bentley Reimers 4, Bentley Boncynski 4, Easton Steinkraus 2, Eli Bermel 2, and Payton Kuchta 2.
On Friday, Feb. 2, the Hawks traveled to Wakefield to take on the Trojans. The young Hawks started with a close one-point loss in the B game and came away with an eightpoint win in the A game.
The B game was a close one with the Trojans coming out on top 29-28. Scoring for the Hawks was Payton Kuchta 18, Isaac Lienemann 4, Dawson Gansebom 4, and Ty Sievers 2.
In the A game, the Hawks came away with a 36-28 win. Scorers included Bentley Boncynski 9, Bentley Reimers 8, Easton Steinkraus 8, Jaylen Junck 6, Eli Bermel 4, and Payton Kuchta 1.
On Saturday, Feb. 3, the Hawks traveled to Coleridge to take on LCC. In the A game, the Bears came out on top 46-13. Scorers for the Hawks included Jaylen Junck 4, Easton Steinkraus 4, Eli Bermel 3, and Ty Sievers 2.
In the B game, the Bears came out on top 23-7. Scoring for Osmond-Randolph was led by Trenton Wiseley with 3, followed by Payton Kuchta 2, and Ty Sievers 2.
Children are never very good at listening to their elders, but they have never failed to imitate them.
