Congratulations are in order for Riley Classen, a Hoskins native, who has of- ficially earned the title of journeyman lineman after successfully completing the rigorous requirements of the lineman apprenticeship program. The apprenticeship program is a four-year program or 8,000 hours of on the job training or an equivalent.
Classen’s promotion marks a sig- nificant milestone in a career built on hard work, dedication, and a strong commitment to public safety and service. A proud military member, Riley brought the same discipline, leadership, and perseverance from his time in the army to his work in the utility field.
As a journeyman lineman, Classen will now take on greater responsibilities, including leading crews, mentoring apprentices, and ensuring the continued reliability of the electrical grid.
