What Does 'America The Beautiful' Mean to Me Regarding Veterans and the Military?
I think the song “America The Beautiful” means all of the veterans and military that put their lives on the line to fight for our country have a brave and beautiful personality. They work so hard to not only protect them, but the people in our country.
I'm so thankful that we have a strong and powerful army to protect us and our beautiful country. The military are like our amber waves of grain. The fields of gold stand tall and proud like the soldiers waving as if a salute of pride.
The American Air Force, Navy, Army and Marines protect our beautiful land to keep our country strong, powerful and safe. We should be proud we have veterans that stand tall through all of the challenges thrown at them.
The veterans are our majesties because they put their lives on the line to protect us and our country. We should work together like all of the military that work like brothers and sisters.
Our country has been through a lot, but we fought together. We are truly united. Thank you to all of our former veterans and those that are serving now or are thinking about serving in the future.
I would also like to mention that we get a lot of freedoms that others from different countries don't. I believe that is because we are such a well-united country.
We have the freedom to vote and the freedoms of speech and religion. I am truly grateful that we have these freedoms. Our freedoms have been changes throughout the years, but our government runs by these words, “we the people.”
Our country is made up of amazing veterans, beliefs, freedom and people like you and me. When we all come together, we make a great country. We're truly united. —Elliot Kumm
