Exploding Rolls 4 C warm water
1 C lard
1 C sugar
2 Tbl. yeast
1 tsp. salt 3 eggs, beaten
8 C flour
¼ C melted butter
Preheat oven to 325°. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add lard, sugar and other ingredients in order given. Let rise until doubled in size. Punch down and let rise until doubled again.
Grease 2 9x13x2-inch pans. Shape into rolls. Brush with melted butter. Bake for 15 minutes. Kathy Shannahan Osmond Centennial
