Lauritzen Gardens wins fifth place in USA Today's 10 best Readers' Choice Awards

OMAHA — Lauritzen Gardens has placed fifth in USA TODAY's 10 Best Readers' Choice Awards contest for "Best Botanical Garden." Nominees for the category were submitted by a panel of experts and Lauritzen Gardens was selected as one of the twenty finalists from the pool of garden nominations from around the country. 2025 was the first year that Lauritzen Gardens was nominated in this category. Voting by the public narrowed the list down to the top 10. Voting began Feb. 10 and closed on March 10.

“We have nothing but gratitude towards the Omaha community and the supporters of Lauritzen Gardens for voting for us," said Ennis Anderson, Chief Executive Officer of Lauritzen Gardens. "It was an honor to be recognized on a national stage alongside a host of other outstanding botanical gardens and to highlight the work we all do in the communities we serve.
