Signs of springtime. . .

Signs of springtime. . .
Despite a Winter Storm Warning that turned into a Winter Weather Advisory late last week, signs of spring have been showing up all over. Following the weather advisory, which brought only an inch or two of wet, heavy snow, the temperature started warming up and the snow was gone within a couple days. For the last few days, the temperature has even risen into the 70s. Geese have been flying overhead for a few days now, and robins have even been spotted! For the rest of this week, the temperatures will be in the upper 60s to mid 70s before dropping back down to around 40 degrees on the weekend, with thunderstorms on Friday and a chance of snow on Saturday. The extended forecast seems to show the temperature fluctuating between the 60s and 40s - typical Nebraska springtime weather.
