OSMOND — Residents are reminded that the spring visit of the Red Cross bloodmobile will be held on Thursday, March 13. Blood donations will be taken at the Osmond High School gym from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The visit is hosted by the Osmond High School anatomy class. The goal for the visit is 35 units.
Call the school at (402) 748-3362 or visit redcrossblood.org to schedule appointments. Appointments are suggested, but not required. Walk-ins are welcome if there is an open time slot.
Anatomy class instructor Kerri Conn shared the following information from the Red Cross: All who come to give in March will receive a $10 Amazon e-gift card and successful donations get A1C testing.
Mrs. Conn added that students who donate will be put in a raffle for a choice of a gaming console, and if the school’s goal of 35 units is met, all presenting donors will be put in a raffle for a $50 gift card.
