Lady Tiger basketball season recap given

(By Coach Bradley Wright) OSMOND — The 2024-25 Lady Tigers basketball team had 10 girls participate this year. Seniors leading the team this year were Keli Aschoff, Sophia Gansebom, and Erin Wagner.

Juniors consisted of Piper Hoffman, Carrie Kumm, and Kaleigh Miller. Sophomores were Charley Aschoff, Deedee Kumm, and Addison Miller. The lone freshman on the team this year was Korrine Moes.

With no boys’ team this year, the activities director and administration had to work very hard to put together a full season schedule for the team to play, and it was a very unique and fun experience.

The Tigers finished with a 7-18 varsity record this season. The team had four opponents on their schedule that played for a district final, and two of those opponents, St. Mary’s and GACC, qualified for this week's state tournament.

The team had the opportunity to go up to South Dakota on two separate Saturdays to play teams in showcase events that had multiple teams across multiple divisions play in a full day of games.

The three seniors have gone through a lot over the course of their four years here. Their sacrifice, dedication, leadership, and work ethic was appreciated and will be missed going forward. Thank you Keli, Sophia, and Erin!
