NELIGH — The Osmond Community School junior high Quiz Bowl team, which included Navaeh Newton, Alyvia Koehler, Katarina Miller, Adalyn Koehler, Ava Kumm and Clara Steinkraus, traveled to Neligh on Tuesday, Feb. 25, to compete in the ESU 8 junior high Quiz Bowl competition.
The junior high team defeated Elkhorn Valley and Elgin in pool play but were unable to win the tie breaker to advance to the tournament.
The Osmond High School Quiz Bowl team, consisting of Korrine Moes, Erin Aschoff, Keely Gubbels, Erin Wagner, Ava Reikofski and Jade Halsey, traveled to Neligh on Wednesday, Feb. 26, to compete in the ESU 8 high school Quiz Bowl competition. The high school team ended their pool play on a high note by beating Stanton on the final question, how ever, they were unable win their pool and qualify for the tournament.
