LINCOLN The Nebraska School Activities Association (NSAA) is
pr oud to announce the 28 recipients of the 2024-2025 NSAA Champions for Coaches Award. This annual recognition honors outstanding coaches across Nebraska who demonstrate exceptional dedication to students, schools, and their communities.
The Champions for Coaches program recognizes active coaches who go the extra mile in supporting students and making a meaningful impact in their
schools and communities. Coaches are nominated by students, administra- tors, parents, and community members in appreciation of their commitment to excellence and leadership. The honorees will be celebrated during halftime of the Class A Boys' State Basketball Semifinal at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 14, at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln.
For spring activities, Joe Ortmeier of Osmond was recognized for boys' track & field.
