The Osmond-Wausa Tiger wrestlers competed in a triangular at Creighton on Thursday, Jan. 30, and in the Plainview triangular on Saturday, Feb. 1.
Creighton Triangular
In the triangular, Randolph defeated Osmond-Wausa 48-21 in the first match, and Creighton defeated Osmond-Wausa 44-18 in the second. Where there was only one competitor in a weight class, that person won by forfeit; in some cases there were no competitors, leading to a double forfeit.

PLAINVIEW — Lots more wrestling action Saturday, Feb. 1, for the high school wrestling team who went to Plainview with stiff competition. Although it was a rough start, the team came out on top, finishing fifth as a team with 104 points total.
Jaxon Vinson received a second- place medal and Caleb Vinson a third place. Kaleb Gardner and Tate Stolpe each received a fourth place medal.
Coaches Patrick Vinson and Nathan Vincent both said “The wrestlers came and competed and gave their absolute best and that's all we can ever ask of them. Can't wait to see what happens at Clarkson Lee this coming Friday, and then it's on to districts.”
