LINCOLN — All layers in Nebraska during December 2024 totaled 8.56 million, up from 8.21 million the previous year, according to the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service.
Nebraska egg production during December totaled 215 million eggs, up from 214 million in 2023. December egg production per 100 layers was 2,508 eggs, compared to 2,607 eggs in 2023.
