OSMOND — The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be in Osmond at the Osmond General Hospital activity center on Wednesday, Jan. 8, from 12 noon until 6 p.m. January is National Blood Donor Month, the perfect time to make a resolution to become a regular blood or platelet donor in 2025.
Eligible donors with types O, B negative or A negative blood are encouraged to make a Power Red donation at this drive. Power Red donors give a concentrated dose of red blood cells during a single donation. During this type of donation, red blood cells are separated from other blood components, and the plasma and platelets are safely and comfortably returned to the donor.
