65 YEARS AGO — A young Osmond farmer, Norman Lorenz, who spent part of the long winter hours trapping furbearing animals, came up with a rarity in the animal world when an albino beaver fell prey to one of his sets. Completely white with the exception of a very small dark spot on its back, the animal, unlike most true albinos, did not have pink eyes. The eyes were blue. The Lorenzes contacted the State Game Commission and the rare animal might be mounted for public viewing.
