WAUSA – Golgotha Lutheran Church in rural Wausa has a new vacancy pastor – and a new service time.
The Rev. Ryan Janke is taking over for the Rev. Jacob Bobby, who had been serving as the church’s vacancy pastor since June 2023 and is moving on to serve St. John’s Lutheran Church in Yankton, S.D.
Janke most recently has served as the pastor of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Orchard and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Venus.
In addition to a new vacancy pastor, Golgotha Lutheran also has changed the time and day for its Divine Service from 8 a.m. Sundays to 5 p.m. Saturdays while the church’s search for a permanent pastor continues.
