WAUSA – The TeamMates Mentoring Program of Wausa has rescheduled its annual recognition event for Feb. 6.
The chapter is set to recognize its 2023-24 mentor-mentee matches sometime that evening as Wausa’s high school basketball teams host Hartington- Newcastle.
The recent winter weather has caused Wausa Public Schools to postpone and cancel several basketball games and other activities, including the TeamMates recognition event that had been set for Jan. 19 in honor of National Mentoring Month.
Another event that was postponed was the Wausa Parent Council’s inaugural Book Bingo, which had been scheduled for Jan. 22. A new date for it will be announced soon.
