Pierce County Housing Study, resident and employer survey responses requested

PIERCE COUNTY– Pierce County residents are being asked to participate in a countywide survey to be used in an updated housing study that is being completed by Pierce County Economic Development with help from Bobbi Pettit and Lowell Schroeder of FIVE RULE Rural Planning.

PIERCE COUNTY– Pierce County residents are being asked to participate in a countywide survey to be used in an updated housing study that is being completed by Pierce County Economic Development with help from Bobbi Pettit and Lowell Schroeder of FIVE RULE Rural Planning.

A separate survey has also been developed for the county’s employers to provide any additional information as it relates to current and future employees having access to adequate housing.

A paper copy of the survey is also available and will be accessible at the village or city office in each participating community; Hadar, Pierce, Plainview, and Osmond.

Pierce County Economic Development is completing a countywide housing study to identify the type and cost of housing that is in the biggest demand for local families. The resulting study will assist PCED with raising funds locally, applying for external funds, and developing housing projects aimed at serving the county’s workforce.

Pierce County Economic Development (PCED) is a 501c6 organization led by a board of directors consisting of community and business leaders across the county.
