OSMOND - The 2024-25 Unified Bowling (UB) season started off with a very successful first meet, hosting Randolph on Tuesday, Oct. 29. Superin tendent Skip Bremer is the coach for the team.
Osmond Community School has four athletes and 13 partners this year in Unified Bowling. Osmond was able to play all four teams in this first match. Team 1 consisted of Ella von Rentzell, Keely Gubbels and Kooper Gubbels.
Team 2: Matthew Spangler, Jack Berg, and Meagan Wagner. Team 3: Jamie Gubbels, Hudson Napier, and Donovan Heiman. Team 4: Payton Oltjenbruns, Deanna Kumm, Landon Oltjenbruns, and Easton Steinkruas.
“All teams did an outstanding job!” said Coach Bremer. “Congratulations to all the participants. Thank you to Osmond's Main Street Alley and Dennis Kuhl for all your assistance!”
At the end of the six Baker Trio format games, the total scores were: Randolph 480, Osmond 1 654, Osmond 3 588, Osmond 2 568, and Osmond 4 497. High single game score was Osmond 1 with a 148.
The teams' next competition was scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 5, at Humphrey LHF. Other contests will be Nov. 9 at Norfolk, Nov. 14 in Osmond, Nov. 19 at Wayne, and districts Dec. 2-4.
