Letter to the Editor: As former directors on the Papio-Missouri and Lower Platte North NRD boards, we have a good idea of the qualifications required of the position.
We’ve reviewed the backgrounds of all candidates for the Lower Elkhorn NRD and are endorsing the following: Kelsey Jones, SD1 Lee Klein, SD2 Layne Roth, SD3 Andy Hrabanek, SD4 Steve Rames, SD5 Each candidate has technical ex- pertise that will benefit LENRD in decision-making. All have strong commitments to protecting the lower Elkhorn watershed and improving lives of the people living in it.
NRD boards are critical to protecting our precious water. Please vote for these candidates.
