On Wednesday, Oct. 9, at approxi- mately 4:20 p.m., an officer employed by the Pierce Police Department initi-
ated a traffic stop of a black BMW car. The vehicle did not stop for the officer and a pursuit of the vehicle through Pierce ensued.
The pursuit of the vehicle continued south of Pierce on Highway 13 and continued into Hadar. The pursuit then continued west from Hadar, taking place on county roads and eventually continuing on Highway 275 west of Norfolk and through multiple towns on Highway 275. The pursuit eventually was terminated because of safety concerns west of Tilden.
The Pierce County Sheriff's Office, Madison County Sheriff’s Department, Antelope County Sheriff’s Office, Neligh Police Department and the Nebraska State Patrol all assisted in the pursuit of the vehicle.
Later that day, the black BMW was located unoccupied in Antelope County. After a lengthy search by multiple law enforcement agencies, two individuals were taken into custody.
Those individuals are identified as Steven Price and Skye Dozler.
Both individuals are facing Pierce County charges along with Price having multiple warrants out of Lancaster County.
