Music in the Park postponed to Sunday

OSMOND — Community HOME Team and Osmond Park Board’s Music in the Park, which was to be held on Sunday, Sept. 22, was postponed last week because of a forecast of rain. The concert, which will feature Tanner Sovereign, grandson of Dorothy Bauermeister of Osmond, and the son of Julie (Buchholz) Sovereign, will now be held on Sunday, Sept. 29, at 4:30 p.m.

Tanner is a young country music artist from Elkhorn, now based in Omaha. Tanner has traveled to Nashville and performed in several venues there. He has opened for several acts like Rodney Atkins, Craig Morgan and Jerrod Neiman. While touring, he played the MGM in Vegas, Ft. Lauderdale in Florida, Beale Street in Memphis and Myrtle Beach, N.C. He has also spent time playing on Music Row and Broadway in Nashville.

Music in the Park will also feature a meal by Traveling Tiger Tavern with pulled pork, hot dogs and macaroni salad. The meal will be for a free will donation, with proceeds to go toward park improvements. See ad on Page 3 of this issue.
