A DETERMINED LITTLE SEED — Rod Ronspies shared this picture of a stalk of corn he grew on his place. He said a kernel of corn fell right next to a gas barrel – where nothing should have grown! Astonishing enough, but what’s even more astonishing is that there are NINE ears of corn on the stalk! Rod was also heard saying that “someone” had been personally “watering” the stalk of corn, but even that did not stop this determined stalk of corn from growing and producing. Rod wondered if he should contact a seed corn company about this particular hybrid — it could be a money-maker!
