LINCOLN – The Nebraska Corn Board is now accepting applications for the 2024 Blender Pump Grant Program.

This initiative aims to enhance ethanol infrastructure in Nebraska by supporting the expansion of higher ethanol blends, including E15, E30 and E85. Retailers are invited to submit applications in accordance with the provided guidelines and may be eligible for up to $50,000 in funding.

“This program represents a significant opportunity for Nebraska corn farmers to directly contribute to the expansion of in-state ethanol infrastructure,” said Payton Schaneman, director of market development for NCB. “By increasing the availability of E15, E30 and E85, we can boost demand for Nebraska- grown corn while providing consumers with more choices at the pump.”

Applications must be received no later than 5 p.m. Sept. 27. For more information, people may visit nebraskacorn. gov/corn-101/corn-uses/ ethanol/.
