WAUSA – Aug. 7 is set to be a busy summer day in the community of Wausa, depending on the weather.
The day marks the last one of the 2024 season for the Wausa Municipal Swimming Pool, according to its Facebook page. The facility is scheduled to be open 1-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., though people are encouraged to call 402-586-2323 and check Facebook to make sure it is open, with a chance of rain in the forecast.
The Wausa Farmers’ Market is set for 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Lied Lincoln Township Library. After this one, only two more are scheduled for the rest of the summer – Aug. 21 and Aug. 31.
The Aug. 21 farmers’ market will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the library and the Labor Day Celebration weekend one will be held from 9-11 a.m. Aug. 31.
