WAUSA – The Lied Lincoln Township Library in Wausa is set to host its third Trivia Night Fundraiser at Gladstone Park at 7 p.m. Aug. 30, weather permitting.
Teams will consist of four-six players. The Friends of the Library group, which is in charge of the event, encourages each team to create a team name and have members dressed to represent their respective name. Each team who is dressed up will receive an extra mulligan, which will count as a correct answer.
Each of the event’s three rounds will have five categories with six-seven questions in each category. Teams will be given a packet for each round with the questions and an answer sheet. Teams will have a time limit to complete each round. Answers will be posted after each round.
Prizes will be awarded to the top two teams. After the first and second rounds, individuals will be able to play a game for $1. The event is trying Over and Under again this year as one of the games. Rules for the other game will be explained while results are being tabulated.
Funds raised by the event will help to purchase StoryWalk books and supplies for the StoryWalk at the park.
Each team must register and pay by Aug. 23. The cost is $15 per person and includes one drink ticket per person. Additional drink tickets may be purchased at the registration table. Snacks will be available.
People may contact the library at 402-586-2454 or Ann Pfeil at 402586-2940 to register. Mulligans, which again will count as a correct answer each, may be purchased at the registration table for $2 each (one per round).
