Wausa girl competes in Knox County 4-H Talent Contest

BLOOMFIELD – Hallie Kumm, Wausa, was one of many competitors in the 2024 Knox County 4-H Talent Contest.

BLOOMFIELD – Hallie Kumm, Wausa, was one of many competitors in the 2024 Knox County 4-H Talent Contest.

The talent contest, which was held on July 25 at First Trinity Lutheran Fellowship Hall in Bloomfield, consisted of a Dance Division, Instrumental Division, Vocal Division and Other Division.

The event’s other competitors included: Bloomfield’s Peyton Bratetic, Aletheia Dumler, Bailey Mlady, Emma Sonnichsen and Makenah Steffen; Creighton’s Ethan Kronberg; and Crofton’s Claire Marsh, Grace Steffen, Morgan Stevens, Cecilia Wortmann, Elizabeth Wortmann, Meredith Wortmann and Sophia Wortmann.

In the Advanced Instrumental Division, receiving Champion was Morgan Stevens.

In the Intermediate Instrumental Division, receiving Champion was a duet by Claire Marsh and Meredith Wortmann. Also in the same division, receiving purple ribbons were Peyton Bratetic, Makenah Steffen, Meredith Wortmann and Cecilia Wortmann. Receiving a blue ribbon was Hallie Kumm.

In the Beginning Instrumental Division, receiving Champion was Grace Steffen. In the Clover Kid Instrumental Division, receiving a Clover Kid Ribbon was Ethan Kronberg.

In the Advanced Vocal Division, receiving Champion was Elizabeth Wortmann. Also in the same division, receiving purple ribbons were Morgan Stevens and Sophia Wortmann with their duet.

In the Beginning Vocal Division, receiving Champion was Emma Sonnichsen. Also in the same division, receiving a purple ribbon was Bailey Mlady. Receiving a blue ribbon was Aletheia Dumler.

In the Beginning Dance Division, receiving Champion was Aletheia Dumler.

In the Beginning Other Division, receiving Champion was Grace Steffen.
