WAUSA – The third annual Wausa Farmers’ Market season is in full swing.
The next farmers’ market event is scheduled for 6:30-8:30 p.m. July 24 at the Lied Lincoln Township Library.
Music therapists from Bloomfield will provide the evening’s entertainment during the farmers’ market. Sushis Wendy LLC, West Point, will be the featured food truck, offering a variety of options.
Held every other Wednesday evening throughout the summer other than during Wausa’s Labor Day Celebration, the farmers’ market features fresh produce, local crafts and sweet treats.
As 2024 progresses, the farmers’ market is seeing more and more fresh produce from local farmers.
All of the vendors offer items that are homemade, handmade or homegrown, meaning visitors to the farmers’ market will find unique, high-quality products that they will not see in stores.
The farmers’ market is more than just a place to shop. It is a chance to connect with neighbors, support local businesses and enjoy a summer evening out.
Whether people are planning a night out with the kids or a relaxed evening with their spouses, the farmers’ market is the perfect setting to bring their family, friends and an appetite for food and community spirit.
