YORK - Central Valley Ag (C VA) cooperative is proud to announce the winners of its 2024 Photo Contest.

Winners have been selected in each of the following categories: Beauty of the Midwest, Livin’ with Livestock, Generations on the Farm and the People’s Choice Award.

“The CVA Photo Contest is an outstanding event that allows for our community members to connect with our team and each other and celebrate the agriculture industry,” said Owen Baker, senior vice president of marketing at CVA, “We are thrilled with this year’s submissions and impressed with the talent displayed.”

The 2024 People’s Choice Award is awarded to Cara Bolling of Osmond.

Facebook users voted on this award by giving Bolling’s photo the most likes, comments and shares during the contest. Bolling’s photo captures a dad and his two young sons walking through a cornfield on an overcast day, highlighting the generations on their farm.

A panel of judges have selected the winners for the other three categories: Renee Hamm of Pratt, KS, submitted the winning Beauty of the Midwest photo, Hamm’sphoto captures a beautiful sunset resting over a corn field.

The Livin’ with Livestock category was won by Pei tty n Johnson of Alliance, NE. Johnson’s photo holds the silhouette of a cow in front of a sunrise with a windmill in the background.

Lastly, Jenice Stevenson of Polk City, IA, won the Generations on the Farm category with her photo of a little boy enjoying a juicy steak.

Winners of each category will be awarded a $100 cash gift card, and the winning photos will be featured in CVA’s print and online publications.
